Neighbour’s Head

Written for: I Challenge You To…This week’s challenge is to write a story, limerick or poem on the subject of:  Kids

Neighbour’s Head (Limerick)

Kids laugh at neighbour’s shaved tattooed head,
Giggle uproar when one shouts “DICKHEAD…!”
Fierce neighbour’s Bulldog growl,
Kids panic he might prowl.
Poised to run, behind them stands shithead.

  2. i wrote this some years ago for my grand children. It was published in my second book, Cloudscape And Landscape: poetic Echoes:

See-saw is played only as a pair,
up and down, in turns, we share.
One must be up, the other down,
    no co-operation, both are clowns.
Senseless to prolong stay in the air,
touch ground again to go high is flair.
There are limits to get high and fast,
a careful ride is safe and fun will last.
Up and down, balance of life, is fair,
give and take, high or low, is funfair.
