Willow and Me

1349104945-2387291764
A poem inspired by today’s heat wave – no poetry style
Embraced,
in the arms of the old willow tree,
luxuriating,
in its protective shade,
hiding,
from the high sun,

safe,
from the blistering heat,

I let myself be,

Willow,
and
me.
